If the crowd-shot choices of ESPN’s CBS’s college football broadcast producers are any guide, this kid has found a formula that works. War paint. Manchester United shirt that says “Alabama” on the back. A complete and total disregard for personal embarrassment. Take a bow, United-shirt-war-paint-Bama-fan: You’re a star. Even the choice of United shirt works; of all the recent designs, the gingham version from last season is probably the most “Bama.” Roll Tide.
This kid is apparently a fixture at Alabama football games in Tuscaloosa, and going by the Twitter reaction to his TV appearances last night, no one likes him. Seriously, it’s a hate-fest.
