America (USWNT) Beat America’s Hat (Canada) In The Olympics And It Was Awesome

Going down thrice to goals from Christine Sinclair and coming back to level all three times before winning in the 122nd minute on a header from the (almost) flawless Alex Morgan, the USWNT beat neighbors Canada 4-3 in the semifinal of the Olympics. It was a trademark last-gasp heroic performance from the Yanks, even if some Canucks got butthurt in the process.

(And to anyone who thinks that a Norwegian ref conspired to help the USWNT: read up on your women’s soccer history.)
