Just days old, FIFATV comes proper with an uplifting story of how soccer has helped a group of those with learning disabilities enjoy the beautiful game and create their own community.

A strong feeling of exclusion is often experienced by people with learning disabilities. To combat that, Martin founded a team with the idea of fostering confidence and solidarity among people with learning disabilities. The benefits for these players manifests far beyond the time spent on the pitch.

Martin now travels the world on behalf of the Special Olympics to preach about the benefits of soccer for those with learning disabilities. Kudos go to for FIFATV for launching the video platform, but the archaic minds over there have prevented embedding so you’ll have to head over to Youtube to check it out.
