Celebrity Chef Daniel Boulud Hung Out With The Trophée des Champions

Of the many, many soccer games to be played on North American soil this summer involving prestigious, beloved European clubs (and Stoke city), only one actually means anything more than a friendly; the 2012 Trophée des Champions, contested by Ligue 1 champion Montpelier and Coupe de France holder Lyon, will be played at Red Bull Arena on July 28. 

One man who brings together the most cultured spheres of both France and New York is celebrity superchef Daniel Boulud, owner of Daniel, one of just 11 restaurants in the United States to be rated at three Michelin Stars. To put that into context, three Michelin Stars is the culinary equivalent of a Ballon d’Or, making Bouloud kind of the Leo Messi of ridiculously swanky food.
