With the hefty asking price of $50,000 per minute of footage (go ask Jay DeMerit), footage from the FIFA World Cup is rarely seen outside the context of the official broadcasters. So about two weeks ago, somebody in Switzerland started a YouTube channel to put video from International matches up on YouTube, as well as various other FIFA and soccer-related videos.

We don’t approve of much of what FIFA does, but we’ll be thrilled with more videos like this (In the wake of the winner, I forgot how absolutely nuts that game was). Of course, being FIFA, they missed the whole point of sharing video and disabled embedding, so you have to go to the channel itself to see anything.
