Typography nerds are among some of the strangest people on the planet. This is common knowledge. How else would you describe a bunch of people who care so much about how numbers and letters are represented? Weird. Football fans who are also typography nerds are a subset unto themselves, because football has more than its fair share of typography/fonts/whatever. Because they’re football fans, they’re slightly less strange and slightly less nerdy. And now they have a book just for them! Hooray!

It’s called “Football Type”, and it looks really cool. Lots of great images of the typography-rich world of football. And, even better, all proceeds from the sale of the book will go to benefit the Football Foundation, a charity that works to improve football facilities and build communities around England.

But here’s the thing: If you want to get a copy, you better hurry. They’re only printing 1000, with each version getting a customized cover hand numbered using Premier League lettering. Damn, man.
