High-end watchmaker Hublot is the leader in sports marketing tie-ins, having produced officials watches for a host of sporting clubs, events, and leagues. The Swiss company keeps things trucking along right before EURO 2012, with two watches made to commemorate the European championship. Hublot designed a special version of their King Power model for each of the host countries, Poland and Ukraine, complete with gold and tantium accents..

Ukraine gets the gold and ceramic treatment, while the Poland version incorporates titantium. Each watch features a 48mm case with a 45-minute counter as an obvious reference to a half of soccer. The official UEFA logo is implemented into the watch’s sapphire crystal case back with both a soccer ball and a EURO 2012 logo.

Naturally, the watches come in the colors of the respective nations: yellow and blue for Ukraine, red and white for Poland.

Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver got a little wacky at the official watch launch.
