MLS Players Wear Pink To Fight Breast Cancer

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and in support of those noble efforts, MLS players are getting kitted out in the ubiquitous bright pink. Kevin Hartman, Fredy Montero, and Teal Bunbury will all wear custom-designed adidas cleats (Bunbury’s are above) throughout the month.

Even the official league site, Major League Soccer Soccer, is getting involved, prominently displaying the pink ribbon on its homepage. The league’s charitable arm, MLS W.O.R.K.S, debuted its “Soccer Kicks Cancer” initiative last month.
