The modern soccer ball – a perfectly engineered spheroid so technologically advanced it has literally changed the sport over the past few decades – could be called a work of art, in the incidental sense. PASSPORT Soccer has turned the ball into art in the actual sense, by using the ball itself as their canvas.

Three artists have contributed to PASSPORT’s first run of limited edition balls-as-art. Monica Boluto, George Davis and Edgar D. Acevedo tackled the project with their own unique styles.

Edgar D. Acevedo, “Spades Striker”:

George Davis, “El Maestro” (main image is the flip side of this ball):

The limited edition run is 500 balls of each design. For $35, buyers also receive a bag and a print. For more images or to purchase the ball, visit PASSPORT soccer.
