The Dutch predictably throttled Romania in Bucharest on Tuesday night, a game most notable for an epic 20-yard headed goal by Jermaine Lens. After the effort, Robin van Persie, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Ibrahim Afellay and Nigel de Jong decided to blow off some steam while they had a night in Easter Europe with a man who definitely knows how to party: Romanian international and noted drug-problem-haver Adrian Mutu.
Mutu and his Dutch friend hit a club called the Tiffany Piano Club (seriously?) where they mingled with some of Bucharests finest girls-for-hire. Romanian outlet Click reports the group hit the club at 1 AM and stayed until 4 AM.
For their trouble, the ladies received €150 each and the satisfaction of spending an evening with Nigel de Jong without having one or more of their leg bones shattered in the process.
Just in case you’d lost track of Mutu, who made an 18-minute appearance for Romania in the loss, the former Chelsea, Juventus, and Fiorentina man is now playing with Ajaccio in Ligue 1.
