At a big todo today in New York City (with KCKRS in attendance), adidas announced a partnership with MLS called “Smart Soccer” that will “revolutionize” the game by providing “real time data” about how “players” are performing on the “pitch.” Or something with fewer quotes.
Essentially, the Smart Soccer is adidas’ miCoach tracking on a grand scale. When the #smartsoccer tag took off on Twitter, the denizens of that sphere decide to give their own two cents about what #smartsoccer might be. Here are some of our favorites.
