It seems like every year, Nike or Adidas come out with a ball that is rounder, flies further, and makes goalkeepers cry themselves to sleep with more tears than ever before. And they all have a made-up name that’s supposed to capture the essence of the ball.
Well, this is the current effort from Nike. It’s called the Seitiro, and the English Premiership, Spanish La Liga, and Italian Serie A are going to use it next season. It uses some new technology called “RaDaR” that will help the players see the ball better, since so many were having trouble noticing the big white thing they’re paid millions to hit.
We’re not scientists, but we think it looks cool, and we definitely want one.
